We get a few questions about finance; hopefully the information below will answer any queries you may have.

Age
• To be eligable for finance, applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Why Finance?
• Interest on Credit Cards is calculated daily, so unless you clear the balance every 55 days or so you will be paying dearly due to compounding interest.
• A Credit Card is perhaps best kept for an emergency fund in a dire situation.
• Finance allows you to make fixed installments across a predefined time frame – this helps your budgeting greatly.
• Finance increases your buying power – letting you have what you want without your cash dictating.
• The tax on Hire Purchase interest is deductible.

Our Finance - An Overview
• All Finance is offered through Finance Now.
• There is a $60 booking fee, shown on the finance figures on this site.
• You can choose your own term from 6 - 36 months.
• Payment Protection Insurance is available. This insurance is optional, though we strongly advise you take it. The costs are minimal (approx 5% of total purchase amount), and ensure you’ll keep your purchases in the event you can’t make payments due to injury, redundancy or other unforeseen events. You can arrange this with us when we finalise your purchase and paperwork.
• 'No Deposit' finance is available. Remember however that paying a deposit will reduce your installment repayment amounts.
• Unfortunately, we can't complete the entire transaction with this online procedure… this is simply a 'pre-approval'.  
• When the system APPROVES you, it will give you a letter to save / print out and email to us, or bring in to see us in Hamilton. Once we receive this letter, we will match it up with our system and be able to complete the paperwork. If you have opted to pay a deposit, this is when you should deposit it into our bank account, or bring it in. Unfortunately cheques are not accepted for deposits… cash, bank deposits, or credit card payments only for deposits please.
• If you can get to Hamilton you can email and arrange to visit us for contract finalisation. If you’re from out of Hamilton we’ll send you the official documents for signing with a J.P. (Justice of the Peace). When you do this, you will need to use the exact form of ID that you enter in the online procedure for us or the J.P. to witness. Acceptable forms of ID are drivers licenses, Cards with your name embossed on them (most Credit Cards and SOME bank cards). If you don’t confirm your exact I.D., we can’t complete the sale for you.
• If the online approval process comes back ‘DECLINED’ – don’t worry… there are other options available, it’s not necessarily terminal! The application will be reviewed by a Finance Now Senior Lender on the following business day. Finance Now certainly WANTS to lend you the money and will look for all ways in their power to lend you the money. The online procedure is pretty new and it’s pretty good, but it isn't perfect. Feel free to email us at anytime to query the status of an application.
